I am Zakia Wells. I can admit that when I first decided to begin releasing my art and thoughts to the world; I didn't want my name attached anywhere. I didn't want to be myself nor what I was becoming with each heartbreak,academic struggle, and overall overwhelm to do everything exactly right: I was in a hole of artistic depression.

So, this has been birthed because I want to show others how you can continue to live on, thrive at times, cry at times and be all you decide to be. I am now an artist, educator, reiki healer, tarot reader and most importantly myself.

​I want to use this first website ever to show the ups and downs of being an artist and human being who was deemed "gifted" and burnt out by highschool. I want to show a perspective that others have been drawn to for years and know that I am helping someone just by being Zakia Wells.
